Leonard Jernigan went to San Pedro, Belize on a mission trip with members of St. Michael's Episcopal Church (Raleigh) to work contruction at the Holy Cross Anglican Primary School, which helps children who otherwise would not receive an education. Stop Hunger Now
The Jernigan Firm participated in a Stop Hunger Now project in Raleigh on a Saturday morning where 30,000 bags of food were prepared. Over 150 people joined in this effort. Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid around the world. Wake County SPCA's 10th Annual K9-3K Dog Walk
Our paralegal, Beckie Siers, and her beagle, Eldon, participated in the Wake County SPCA's 10th Annual K9-3K Dog Walk. Over 2,500 people and dogs took to the streets in downtown Raleigh and raised over $165,000 for Wake County's homeless pets.
